Wang Yamei

Wang Yamei, female, born in October, 1962, Suqian,Jiangsu province. 1980, studied in Faculty of Geology in China University of Geosciences; Up to now, engaged in jewelry education, jewelry research and jewelry testing;  1999, associate professor; Wang teaches courses like Organic gemstone and Synthetic Gemstone, and mainly specializes in the research of gem testing and jewelry and jade enhancement treatment, especially enhancement treatment and identification of amber, origin discrimination of amber. In 1998, Wang became one of the first appraisers with certificate of CGC in China. Now, Wang is the technical director of jewelry testing center in China University of Geosciences and the head of testing station in Guangzhou.
